The Kendall Yards Night Market happens every Wednesday through mid-October.

There’s a special feeling that comes while strolling through your local farmers market. The smell of freshly baked goods, vibrantly colored fresh-cut flowers, and coming together with your neighbors to support small businesses. Farmers markets offer so much more than groceries, and are a direct reflection of a local community. The following farmers market earned the most votes in the Inlander’s annual Best of the Inland Northwest readers’ poll.

KENDALL YARDS NIGHT MARKET
VOTED BEST FARMERS MARKET OF 2025
It’s easy to see why the Kendall Yards Night Market is voters’ top choice. With views overlooking the Spokane River gorge and numerous activities to enjoy like live music and tons of tasty food trucks, it’s a memorable experience any week. Those aforementioned food options are phenomenal and range from Jerusalem-inspired dishes to Latin American cuisine, featuring staples like tacos and pupusas, a savory, corn-based stuffed pancake. At The Nest, a stage is set up with various local music acts performing in front of an area where patrons can take a seat and enjoy their food while watching.

LIBERTY LAKE FARMERS MARKET
Started by siblings Susan and Jim Frank, this longtime farmers market aims to be like the neighborhood markets of Seattle’s University District, and encourages young people to take an interest in the agricultural arena. By incubating young talent to farm, grow produce, and fostering other food artisans, Liberty Lake’s market has achieved those goals and is a source of community-based activity. The goal of fostering community really drives the market, and in the past, it has even organized blood drives and hosted pie festivals. With 40 to 50 vendors each week, it’s easy to shop and gather with friends.

FAIRWOOD FARMERS MARKET
Farmers markets often highlight that there’s something for everyone, and the Fairwood Farmers Market in North Spokane does just that with special programs for kids, such as KERNEL, which allows children to participate in fun activities and learn about healthy eating and living habits. After completing an activity, kids get a $2 voucher to spend on fresh and healthy food. The market also hosts live, local music to be enjoyed by all ages. What also makes Fairwood’s market a great starting point for a Saturday morning is its proximity to the Little Spokane River and the beautiful natural surroundings only blocks away.

MOSCOW FARMERS MARKET
The Moscow Farmers Market has existed since 1976 and shows no signs of slowing down. It’s remained a staple for the college town since, helping foster the Palouse’s historically rich agricultural legacy. Programs like the Bell Brigade give local youth a chance to ring opening and closing market bells. A rotation of music performances and special events in Friendship Square makes the market an inclusive space for all. It’s easy to see why the market is consistently rated one of the best in the nation by America’s Farmers Market Celebration.

The Perry Street Thursday Market happens near Grant Park.

PERRY STREET THURSDAY MARKET
The charming South Perry neighborhood shines with its farmers market hub centered in Grant Park. The market aims to provide the community with affordable, healthy food. It partly achieves this aim by partnering with vendors who participate in the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which helps make purchasing quality, locally sourced food available to all. The market offers much more than food, too, and features local artists such as Mad Merica Design, who sells their Spokane-inspired art showcasing the region’s unofficial mascot, the marmot.
Thursdays from 3-7 pm, May to Oct. Perry and Tenth, Spokane. thursdaymarket.org
